We’ve been running the
Voice AI Chat Widget
in Private Beta
with select agencies to test reliability, user experience, and voice accuracy.Following strong feedback and successful real-world tests, we’re
now opening it to all agencies via Labs!

🎤Voice-Only Chat Type
- Visitors can start and hold real-time conversations directly from the Chat Widget using their browser’s microphone and speakers.
- No calls, no downloads; it’s instant and seamless.
🧠 Configurable AI Agent Name
- Define your Voice AI Agent’s display name (e.g., “BuilderAi”) right inside the Chat Widget builder.
- The name appears in the live widget, helping agencies craft on-brand, humanized AI experiences.
🛑 Built-In Call Recording Notice
To ensure clarity and compliance, the widget displays:
- “All voice AI calls made using chat widgets cannot be recorded.”
- This transparency prevents confusion and makes it clear that voice calls using chat widgets cannot be recorded.

🔐 reCAPTCHA Protection
- Automatically prevents misuse or bot-driven repeated call attempts.
- If a visitor connects/disconnects 10 times within 60 seconds, a reCAPTCHA prompt appears before they can continue.

🧩 Browser-Based Engagement
- Everything happens in the browser - no external tools, telephony setup or outbound calls required.
- Ideal for agencies wanting fast, interactive engagement directly on their websites.
🎬 How to Get Started
Step 1: Enable in Labs
Navigate to
Settings
> Labs
and enable “Voice AI Chat Widget.”
Once enabled:
- Agencies can control whether to turn it on for each sub-accountindividually or for all the sub-accounts.
- The feature will appear automatically in the Chat Widget creation dialog once enabled.
Step 2: Configure the Voice AI Chat Widget
- Go to Sites>Chat Widgets.

- Create a new one with Voice AI as the widget type.

- In the Agent Tab, selectVoice AI Agent.

- Enter your AI Agent Name(e.g., “BuilderAi”) if user want to have a different display name of the agent in action.
- Save your changes to create a voice AI widget.
Step 3: Embed in Your Website or Funnel

- Click Get Codein the builder.
- Copy the <script>and paste it into your website or funnel page.
- Visitors can now click the microphone iconto start a real-time voice conversation with the AI.
Step 4: Experience Voice AI in Action

- Visitors can talk to your AI agent instantly in the browser.
- They can start, mute or endthe voice session freely.

- If the system detects repeated connect/disconnect attempts, it prompts a reCAPTCHA challenge for continued use.
