We are thrilled to announce our latest update to mobile payments - support for Tap to Pay on Square for POS and Mobile Payments! Users can now start using Tap to Pay in addition to the existing Cards on File, Manual Card Entry, and Square Readers to accept in-person payments using the POS on the mobile app. This update is live on v3.98.1 for HighLevel and LeadConnector, with an update available for Whitelabelled mobile app as well (needs to be requested).
🚀 What’s new
  • Square Tap to Pay
    : Merchants can use Tap to Pay to accept in-person payments from their customers. Customers can pay merchants using their cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other contactless payment options.
Prerequisites
: An active square account with an active square location connected with your preferred subaccount(s).
👷‍♂️ How to use this feature
  1. Connect your square account by heading over to Payments -> Integrations on the HighLevel web platform. Ensure that you select an active square location under Square Live Mode.
  2. Login to the mobile app and open the sub account which was used for Square connection.
  3. Head over to the POS and start a new sale → Add items using the keypad or catalog, link a contact, and add taxes+discounts
  4. Proceed with the Sale by tapping on the Payments Instruments button.
  5. Choose Square Payments.
  6. You will now be able to select Tap to Pay to complete the transaction.
