We're thrilled to announce our latest update to Mobile payments - support for payment terminals. You can now connect select payment terminals (sold by Stripe) to the mobile app and accept payments by having your customers tap, insert, or swipe their cards on the terminal! This update is available on HighLevel, Leadconnector, and Whitelabelled apps (update needs to be requested).
🚀
What's New
  • Payment terminal support
    - You can now link a payment terminal to the mobile app to accept payment. Support payment terminal devices are
    Stripe M2 reader
    and
    BBPOS WisePad 3
. You can use either of these hardware payments to accept a payment using the POS or an invoice.
  • Hardware Settings
    - There is now a dedicated section that allows you to connect your payment terminal to your mobile app. The settings page allows you to view the status of your linked device (including the battery percentage), as well as to search for new devices
  • Device update management
    - All the mandatory and optional updates are automatically installed when you try to connect your terminal to the mobile app. Do not close the app when an update is being installed
  • Refreshed payment instruments screen
    - A brand new look to choose between different payment methods.

How It Works
  1. Install your preferred mobile app (HighLevel, LeadConnector, or Whitelablled) on your device.
  2. Head over to the settings page by opening the lefthand navigation drawer and tapping on the settings icon.
  3. Scroll down all the way to the payment section and tap on "Payment Devices".
  4. If you have already linked a payments device before, you will see a record of it under the "My devices" section.
  5. If you are connecting a device for the first time, the screen will automatically open up in pairing mode. Make sure that your payments terminal is turned on and has atleast 25% battery.
  6. Once the terminal shows up on the pairing screen, tap on connect. The app will check the terminal for any potential updates along with the status. Once the pairing process is complete and all updates have been installed, you can start using the terminal to accept payments.
  7. Head over to the POS tab or the invoices section, based on your preference.
  8. Under the payments instruments screen, you will see a tile titled "Pay with Hardware". Tap on that and the terminal will be prompted to accept payment.
  9. Your customer can then tap, insert, or swipe their card to complete the transaction!

Why it Matters
This feature finally brings tap to pay provision to iPads and Tablets and offers a much more convenient way to process transactions for your business!
