Smarter Download Button for Digital Products

What’s New?

We’ve improved the way downloads are shown for digital products. The

Download button

will now only appear when at least one valid file has been uploaded by the store owner. This update ensures customers aren’t confused by empty or broken download links.

Key Highlights:

Conditional Visibility in Thankyou Page:

Download button appears
only if files exist
for the purchased digital item.
No files? The button stays hidden.

Customer Access Center (CAC):

Shows download links only for items with uploaded assets.
Items without files will display: “No downloads available yet.”

Mixed Orders:

Digital products with assets → show Download CTA.
Physical products → never show Download CTA.

Asset Changes:

Removal:
If assets are deleted, the Download CTA disappears instantly.
Late Additions:
If files are uploaded after purchase, the CAC updates automatically.

Key Points to Note:

Merchants should upload assets for each digital product/ variant to ensure a smooth customer experience.
