Your AI Agent can now learn skills. A skill is a reusable procedure that the agent loads only when a run needs it. Write it once, keep it in your library, and attach it to any AI Agent Action in Workflows.
What's New
A Skills section in every AI Agent
  • Skills sits right below Tools in the AI Agent Action. It stays collapsed until you open it.
  • Every attached skill shows as a row. Hover a row to edit it or detach it.
Three ways to add a skill
  • Create with AI: The AI Assistant asks what the skill should do, when it should fire, and what it must never do. Then it drafts the full skill for you to review. Nothing is saved until you choose Create.
  • Write skill instructions: Fill in three fields: Name, When should the agent use this?, and Instructions. Use Enhance Prompt to improve the wording in one click.
  • Add existing skill: Search your library, click any skill to read it in full, then attach it.

Four built in skills, ready on day one
Every account includes four skills tagged Built-in. Attach, edit, or delete them like any other skill.
  • Humanizer: Removes the known signs of AI writing from any message.
  • Write-well: Keeps any message clear, simple, and direct.
  • Cold-email: Writes first touch and follow up emails to leads who have not replied yet.
  • Sms-writer: Writes short, human text messages.
Attach a skill from your library
Loaded only when relevant
  • On every run, the agent reads only the name and the When should the agent use this? line of each attached skill.
  • The full instructions load only when the run matches.
  • When a run matches more than one skill, they all load together. An outreach email can use Cold-email and Humanizer in the same run.
How to Use
  1. Go to Automation > Workflows.
  2. Open a workflow, then add or open an AI Agent Action.
  3. Scroll down to Skills and expand it.
  4. Click + Add skill and choose Create with AI, Write skill instructions, or Add existing skill.
  5. Review the skill, then click Create & attach or Attach.
  6. Save the action.
Worked Example: One Agent, Every Kind of Lead
A heating and cooling company follows up on every quote request with an email and a text. A few leads report emergencies, and those need a different answer.
The AI Agent Action is set up like this:
  1. Instructions: "Send the lead one email and one SMS that thank them, restate their request, and offer a time to talk."
  2. Tools: Send email and Send SMS.
  3. Skills: Cold-email, Sms-writer, and a custom skill called Emergency service requests.
The custom skill fires on this line: "Use when a lead reports no heat, no cooling, a gas smell, or a water leak, or says the request is urgent." Its instructions say to offer the next same day slot, to never quote a price, and, for a gas smell, to send safety steps first and never book a visit.
A routine quote request gets a friendly email and a short text. A lead who writes "no heat since last night" gets a same day slot. A lead who reports a gas smell gets safety steps first. Same agent, same Instructions, the right behavior every time.
Why This Matters
Your Instructions stay short. Rules that apply only some of the time move into skills, so each action describes its own job and nothing else.
Write once, use everywhere. One skill serves every AI Agent in your account. Fix it once and every agent that uses it gets the fix.
The agent stays focused. Situational rules stay out of the way until the situation shows up, and several skills can work together in a single run.
Good to Know
  • Skills are shared. An edit to a skill applies to every action that uses it.
  • Detach removes a skill from one action. Delete removes it from your library and from every action that uses it.
  • A skill tells the agent how to do something. The agent still needs the right tools, such as Send SMS, to act on it.
  • A skill can use a knowledge base. Name the knowledge base in the skill instructions, and add the Knowledge base search tool to the action.
