Private Integrations for Agencies
We are excited to announce that Private Integrations, released for sub-accounts on 18 July, is now available for Agencies in Labs.
What is New?
Private Integrations is a simple, feature-rich and secure alternative to API Keys.
- Simple: Agencies can leverage API v2 without the hassles of implementing the OAuth v2 token exchange process using APIs. The tokens can be generated directly from the UI.
- More secure: Agency users can restrict the scopes/permissions that a developer can access on their accounts
- Feature-rich: Private Integrations allows agencies to access API v2.0, which packs more API features and Webhooks.
- Easy to Manage: Agencies can follow token management - security best practices using 'Rotate and Expire Now/Later' features.
Why was this feature necessary?
Since API v1 has reach end-of-life and is no longer maintained by HighLevel, the primary objective behind this feature is to enable customers who currently use custom integrations built on top of API v1 to migrate to API v2.
What's next?
- Security Enhancement - Auto-expire Private Integration tokens that haven't been used in last 90 days
- Ability to subscribe to Webhook events in Private Integrations
