Users can now select multi-year registration periods up to 10 years for supported domains directly at checkout. This enhancement streamlines domain management by reducing the need for frequent renewals and offering greater flexibility at the point of purchase.
How It Works
  1. When purchasing a domain, users click Buy next to their desired domain.
  2. A confirmation popup displays a "Pricing Option" dropdown menu.
  3. Users can choose a registration term ranging from 1 to 10 years, depending on TLD availability.
  4. The default selection is 1 year for most domains.
  5. Certain domains, such as .ai, may have a different default term.
  6. The final price dynamically updates based on the selected term.
  7. Upon confirmation, the domain is registered for the selected period, and the wallet is charged accordingly.
Why This Matters
  • Fewer Renewals
: Reduce the administrative overhead of annual renewals.
  • Brand Stability
: Secure domains long-term to maintain brand continuity.
  • Proactive Management
: Ideal for long-term initiatives and business operations.
Important Notes
  • Most TLDs support registrations for up to 10 years.
  • The .co family (
    .co, .com.co, .net.co, .nom.co
    ) supports a maximum of 5 years.
  • If a domain's renewal price differs from its registration price, it can only be registered for 1 year during the initial purchase.
