SaaS agencies can now create up to 20 SaaS plans, with multiple upgrade paths.
Use Cases
Having the ability to create more SaaS plans gives the agencies the option to:
  1. Offer different plans and prices for different niches.
  2. Run multiple campaigns with ample headroom for experimenting with prices, feature sets etc.
  3. Start at a lower price and upsell till a much higher price.
In a nutshell, this feature should allow agencies to reach out to a wider audience, directly impacting their bottomline.
How it works?
  1. We have introduced 'Categories'. Each plan has to be mapped to a Category, each of which represents a different upgrade path i.e. SaaS clients can upgrade to plans within the same category as their current plan.
  2. To create a new plan, go to
    SaaS Configurator > Add Plan
    , then set up the category, features, trial period, credits and rebilling markups for that plan.
  3. At the time of plan creation, the agency can set the plan level (upgrade path) within the selected category.
    The plan level can not be updated after the plan has been created.
Future Enhancements
Support for multiple currencies for SaaS plans- will allow agencies to reach an even wider audience.
