What’s New?
When creating a new subaccount, the CRM now automatically populates it with sample data for Opportunities, Pipeline, Contacts (including an additional contact linked to an Opportunity), Tasks, Notes, Companies, and Tags. Each sample record includes the prefix "(Example)" to clearly differentiate it from actual data.
Why It Matters
These pre-populated examples allow users to immediately understand how different CRM modules work together. New subaccounts can easily explore and grasp the functionality of Opportunities, Pipelines, and associated records, accelerating CRM adoption and reducing initial setup confusion.
Key Details
No Default Pipeline?
If the pipeline for a location is fetched via snapshots and there’s no default pipeline set, sample Opportunities (including the pipeline itself) will not be created. However, sample Contacts, Tasks, Notes, Companies, and Tags will still be added.
Customization
Users have complete control and can customize or remove the sample data at any time.
Impact
- Reduced Setup Friction :
By providing ready-to-use examples, the onboarding experience for new subaccounts is simplified significantly.
- No Effect on Existing Accounts:
Existing subaccounts remain completely unaffected by this change.
