We are excited to announce a big-leap in our pricing capabilities - App Free Trials!
What's New?
- Developers can enable free trial on their paid apps.
- The free trial period can be up to 90 days; the default is 14 days.
- Customers do not get charged until the trial is completed.
Why is free trials necessary?
This feature attempts to address 2 problems:
- The primary objective is to drive app installations. Free trials are a proven model for conversion across the SaaS industry.
- Today, we receive refund requests from dissatisfied app users. Free trials will help reduce refund requests.
What's next?
- Freemium model with the ability to upgrade from a free plan to a paid plan.
- More pricing models - One-time, Usage-based.
