Certificate tied to lesson or assignment

Certificates should be able to be tied to specific lessons assignments or assessments. This would allow you to have multiple certificates in one course, or simply make it to that certain material is tied to a certificate while other materials are just extra, or resources.
You should also be able to define the standards of a certificate. This would allow you to need certain score, or get to a certain length of a course to achieve the certificate.
Use cases:
- 3 levels of certificates in one course. I can have a novice level, a professional level, and a masters level certificates in one course.
- I could make a course where not everything needs to be watched but is decided according to what score is received and how much of the material is completed. 70% on a test and must have watched at least 50% of the material. This is helpful if people are coming in to a course at different skill levels and can choose to watch the information that they specifically need.
- I can have the main material tied to a certificate, but have extra and free material that I could watch at any time. It doesn’t matter if I watch those videos or not to achieve the certificate they just deepen, or give extra information that some may need while others don’t.

The certificate options discussed here are a must for continuing education, and to replace other LMS products like LearnDash. Especially for certifications requiring the user to pass with a minimum score on assessments.

Grant certifications beyond "course completion"

Several of my customers have "ongoing" courses, which offer continual updates like Q&A sessions that are uploaded after each group call.
This creates a problem when you force a certification to only be given upon "course completion".
Certification granting options should also include "lesson completion" or "Quiz/Assessment" completion.

I vote for certificates being tied to assesments passed with a certain minimum score. Lesson completion only means the videos were watched, but no idea if students really learned the material.

I totally support the need for the certificate to be tied to particular lessons completed. We have some optional ones and right now we are requiring that people fake the optional ones to get the certificate completed.
