URGENT: High Volume of "Google Listing Verification" Spam Calls to New Tracking Number - Need Spam Filtering Help

Mohsin Taufeeque
We purchased a new tracking number through GHL LC Phone, and since then, we have been getting approximately 10 to 20 inbound calls per day that are fraudulent "Google Listing Verification" spam.
These calls are robo-dialed, repetitive, and are disrupting our business.
We understand these are third-party scammers, but we need the platform's help to filter them out.
If the current number is known to be "polluted" with spam already, what is the best/fastest way to get a clean replacement LC Phone number?
Thank you for your help. We need a way to stop this spam immediately.

I am seeing the same type of issue.
In my case, I had more than 30 spam calls hit my HighLevel number in one day. Support confirmed that known spam or unknown callers may be blocked, but valid-looking or spoofed numbers cannot currently be filtered reliably before they reach the CRM.
This creates a serious problem for anyone using LC Phone or Voice AI on a public business number.
The usual workaround is to add Call Connect or an IVR, but that does not fully solve the issue. HighLevel does not currently support this inbound flow:
Inbound call → IVR → Press 1 → Voice AI agent
That means we cannot place an IVR spam gate in front of the Voice AI agent.
Buying a new number also does not seem like a reliable fix. Your case shows that a new LC Phone number can already be polluted with spam. Support told me the same thing: carrier numbers are recycled, so a new number may already have spam history.
What we need is not just a replacement number. We need product-level controls:
- Better spam and robocall filtering before calls reach the CRM or Voice AI.
- The ability to route an IVR branch directly to a Voice AI agent.
- The ability to filter conversations by inbound phone number.
- Clear cost controls for calls stopped by IVR, including recordings, transcriptions, Voice Intelligence, summaries, and AI usage.
This is a real issue for agencies and clients using public business numbers. Voice AI is hard to deploy safely if spam calls can reach the system and create noise, usage, or extra cost.
