I can't wait to have this running on my automations. A total upgrade to GHL.

This is a very basic feature of almost any CRM and is very needed in GHL in my opinion!

Agreed with the comment below - if we can't select which task, then there's no value to it. It triggers when "any" task is completed.

So surprised this isn't developed yet. Leaning the CRM now and would love this feature.

I agree with Jeremy, there should be a way to sort/filter specific tasks. Right now, whether task 1 or task 3 gets checked off, the trigger will go off and there is no way to track which task set off the trigger. The only filters right now are assigned user and contact custom fields, but neither of those can be assigned to a specific task so they don't help filter the tasks.

Shun Harris: You might have wrong approach on this, are you going to build automation for each task you create?

Core Platform: Am I missing something in the application of this development because I see I can trigger when a "USER" completes a task but I don't see any option to filter based on the specific task.
I should be able to trigger based on categorized task and I should also be able to send a notification back to the task assignor.
At this rate I don't understand how this completed development brings value since I can't add actions based on task trigger conditions. Am I wrong or missing something?

Hope to get a reply on this ASAP.

Jeremy Booze: I agree - was so excited and then disappointed on this one. Only work-around is if there's a couple super important things to assign to a made up user to identify a specific task. But then it won't show up for the actual user you want to accomplish that task.
Would be awesome if you assigned task in a workflow you could "wait" until task is completed in a wait step and have conditionals, if assigned task is not complete do x, if it has been completed do y. Maybe this is a separate idea but would be ideal for a lot of my use-cases.

GradeTransferer - Indigo Grady: Yes! Your second paragraph is exactly what I was expecting. If this is a case of releasing an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) it has no value in my opinion.
Helpfully this is heard and we get more conditional logic and filter options SOON. Otherwise we have no use for this long awaited feature. =(
Other items that lack are 1. No way to identify who assigned the task. There should be a label for this... we are having to manually add Initials of employees as task IDs to who assigned. Not ideal at all.

Core Platform: Was really hoping to get a "wait" until task is completed in a wait step as well. Not a lot of use for this in its current form.

Yes it could be used in that way for sure but there are many potential use cases for this feature. Unfortunately I don't think the example you mentioned would work right now either due to the inability to filter by a specific task.

Core Platform Do we need to create a separate Ideas post for our feedback here?

Core Platform: What exactly does this do? Is there a help doc or can you summarize this update? Thx

Hope this is coming soon, seems like a lot of us would like this feature.

Any idea when this will be rolled into production?

In progress since April? You already have a webhook for this event, I can't believe it's taking so long. Is there a status?
