Workflow AI – Feels Too Robotic, Needs Real Guidance
The idea behind Workflow AI is a good one, helping us spot issues in our automations. But right now, it’s missing the mark.
The feedback feels 'too generic and shallow'. It’ll say things like “this wait step might seem spammy,” but gives no direction on what would actually work better. There’s no follow-through, no depth, just alerts without any real insight.
The bigger issue?
It doesn’t 'feel' like it understands the workflow's 'intent'. It’s just reacting to surface-level parameters, not actually thinking through what we’re trying to build. It comes across more like a rule-based checklist than something that’s here to help us improve.
What would make it actually useful:
- Give 'clear suggestions', not just vague warnings.
- Offer some 'context', explain why something might hurt the flow or conversion.
- Show some 'intent-awareness', help spot logic gaps or areas where the experience might break down.
Right now, it feels like you're talking to a bot that’s reading the lines but not really 'thinking'. If this is going to be called AI, it needs to do more than point out red flags; it should help us build smarter.
If you think this tool could be better with more depth, spark, and intent, vote this up.

Based on your feedback, I agree 100% - Is there no prompting related to the Workflow AI that allows to provide context. Sounds like it would be helpful if a dialog could be created around the workflow discussion so if feedback is unclear, we could engage the AI further. I look forward to checking out this feature and I'll save this suggestion should I have more to add.
