There currently isn't a way to automatically initiate a next action when a task is completed. When I have a task to take action on, I would like the completion of that task to trigger another step. Same goes for a campaign. Let's say, I run a campaign to a prospect, then the campaign is complete. I would be greatly beneficial to trigger an action such as adding a tag, or adding a task, or move them to an opportunity stage.

Divyam Bhadoria Unfortunatly after 2 years this is still not helpful without being able to filter the exact task that is marked as completed. When will that be added?
It's wild because you guys have Asana and other task management software task completion goals that work, but GHL's native one has never been able to do it without massive workarounds. We have to use N8N to make a simple task completion goal work properly.
Someone needs to take this very seriously and make it a priority. I have mentioned this to Shaun and others 3 times over the past year and we haven't made any noticeable progress.

We moved from infusionsoft who has had this for over 10years. Surprised they don’t have this because it’s such a powerful and useful automation.

Yes, completely agree with this. Also, being able to trigger another automation from the task completion. Such as sending an email or sms message to a customer or whatever the desired action would be after task completion.

While having a task completed trigger is good, there needs to be some functionality to it to be able to filter so it is not just any task completed.
As well, there should be a task completed wait so that we can get specific about who receives what when different types of tasks are completed.

I agree! I am switching from ActiveCampaign and the task completion trigger is one of the features they have that I LOVE.
It is crucial for certain workflows to be able to have the workflow pause until the task is complete.
Please add this asap!!
