I’d love to see a new workflow trigger type for eCommerce events - specifically “Product Viewed” (or “Product Page Visited”).
Currently, GoHighLevel supports triggers for Product Purchased and Product Started (for memberships), but not for when a contact simply views a product. This is an important missing piece for behavioral marketing and deliverability optimization.
Here’s why it matters:
--It would allow us to create browse-abandonment automations, similar to what’s possible in Drip, Klaviyo, etc
--It would let us tag contacts based on interest signals even before they purchase.
--It improves personalization by triggering follow-ups, reminders, or dynamic offers tied to products a lead has viewed.
--Right now, the only workaround is to use page-visit triggers or external webhooks, which doesn’t scale well for stores with multiple products.
Suggested Implementation:
Add a workflow trigger called “Product Viewed” that fires when a contact (tracked via LeadConnector cookie or logged-in user) visits a product detail page within a GHL Store or Funnel. Optionally, allow filtering by:
--Product name or ID
--Category or collection
This would align GHL more closely with modern eCommerce automation platforms and make it much easier to build full “browse → purchase → post-purchase” journeys inside the system without third-party tools.
It would be a game-changer for eCommerce users running stores and funnels inside GoHighLevel!
