The current Estimates tool in GoHighLevel is strong for manual entry but lacks automation for businesses that already collect structured data via forms. Adding custom fields, conditional logic, and a formula engine — along with form-to-estimate mapping — would transform it into a true quoting platform for service-based businesses.

Any field, from headers and line items to taxes and discounts, could pull data directly from form submissions or contact records, while conditional logic would show or hide items based on criteria.

A built-in formula engine could calculate quantities, pricing, taxes, and discounts automatically, supporting functions like rounding (ROUND, ROUNDUP, ROUNDDOWN), MIN/MAX, LOOKUP/TABLE, and IF/ELSE or SWITCH for flexible logic.

This would enable scenarios such as generating drafts for review, instantly sending completed estimates, or redirecting clients straight to a payment page — eliminating duplicate data entry, reducing errors, and delivering faster, more seamless client experiences.

We would also need to haver more options for estimates in the automation tool so that we can incorporate this into a new workflow
