Make Getting A Google Review a Goal in A Workflow

I'd like to send a custom string of emails requesting a Google review. I do not just want to send the same review request email a dozen times ( this, via the reputation settings page, currently seems to be the only option ). I'd like to make receiving a Google review a Goal event that would stop my automation.
At the very least, I'd like to have access to my templates in the email builder on the reputation settings page.

last I checked it was impossible to verify if someone left a review on Google or not, so you "cannot" have that stop an email sequence. Unless things have changed, the best you can do is trigger something based on someone clicking a link TO a businesses review page. But from experience, customers will follow that link, and not leave a review extremely often.

Branden Riggs, yes. this is the challenge for sure. The concept is great. How to implement...not so clear.

Branden Riggs If that is the case then how does the reputation management page/settings know enough to send reminder emails?

Kristen Shaker Unless I’m mistaken, it does not know anything. It will either send the amount of emails you tell it to send, or I think you can set it up to stop sending after someone has opened one of the emails in your series. I do not use the built-in reputation management so I haven’t looked at it in a while.

Branden Riggs Interesting. I'm surprised by this because it's integrated enough to add a notification for a new google review. This makes me think it knows when someone writes one.

Kristen Shaker good point. Thinking about it though, I’m pretty sure the system only knows “someone” left a review, but doesn’t have a way to tie that review to “bob@sample.com” to know it was Bob that left the review and to remove bobs email from the email que.

Branden Riggs it tells me who left a review! It has their full name.

Kristen Shaker the only notification I see has their Google user ID, but not their email address. If their id is “surferdude85”, I don’t know how to connect that to their human name or their email address.
