There needs to be a way to apply merge tags based on conditions.
For example, I want to send and SMS notification when our business has a missed call. I want the notification to either mention the contact's name or just share the phone number that called if we don't have their name.
Currently the only way to do this is to put merge tags for the number and contact name. The issue with this is that if we don't have their name, there is a blank spot in that message that is confusing.
There needs to be a way to say: use contacts name if we have it, otherwise use their phone number.
MailChimp has this feature and it's very useful. With MailChimp, you can even make conditions based off of the device that the user is on (so you can show a merge tag only on mobile for example).
