Choose to have contacts go through the updated version of a workflow

Currently, any updates to an active workflow will not affect those already on the workflow, only those new to the workflow. Ideally, you could choose to direct the existing contacts to the updated version. The only alternative at the moment is to remove contacts from the workflow and manually perform the tasks or allow them to go through the outdated workflow, which can be problematic, especially if there was an error with the initial workflow and you have a few hundred contacts going through the workflow... not ideal for the contact or the account.

So I've been using GHL for almost 2 years, and I was today year's old when I discovered GHL's developers thought it was a good idea for existing contacts to continue through the same version of the workflow that they started in. So if you enter an email into a workflow with ghastly errors, you're stuck with that email. This is such a ridiculous thing to have in place. And I think the only reason this hasn't gotten significant attention is because people don't know that this is how it works. So ridiculous.

Enable Workflow Updates to Apply to Current Participants

Currently, when a workflow is updated (e.g., adding a new action step), the changes only apply to new participants entering the workflow. This makes it challenging to manage active participants who are still progressing through the original version.
It would be incredibly helpful to have the option to apply workflow updates to participants already in the workflow.
For example:
Adding an action step to a workflow should update for all current participants who have not yet reached the new step.
This feature would allow smoother implementation of adjustments without duplicating workflows or manually managing participants.
This functionality would greatly improve workflow flexibility, especially for dynamic campaigns or processes that require ongoing optimization.
Request: Add a toggle or setting to enable workflow updates for active participants. This would streamline updates and ensure consistency across all participants, both new and current.

I have this issue myself. I believe if you push an update it should affect all contacts going through the workflow
