Just like when someone comments on a post, it would be nice to be able to send an automatic message to new followers on instagram and facebook

Please can we get this...
This idea has been on the ideas board for more than a year & still to this day people are begging for this feature. If it wasn't possible at all even with other platforms, then I'm sure we'd understand, but it is possible with Manychat and all the other platforms, why not Highlevel? Please can this be relooked at now that Meta's API rules allow this?

Facebook & Instagram DMs cannot be automatically sent to new followers because Meta does not allow auto-DMs triggered by a “new follower” event. This is a platform limitation, not a GHL limitation.
What GHL can do:
Auto-DM people who comment on your Instagram or Facebook posts (using the Social Planner + Workflow “Instagram Comment Trigger” or “Facebook Comments Trigger”).
Auto-DM people who message your page first.
Auto-DM after someone engages with a Click-to-Message ad.
Auto-reply to Instagram Story mentions (Meta allows this).
What GHL cannot do (due to Meta rules):
Auto-DM new Instagram followers
Auto-DM new Facebook followers
Auto-DM people who have never interacted in messages or comments.
If Meta opens that permission in the future, GHL will support it — but as of now, it’s not allowed by the Meta API.

Hello thanks for the help, there was a recent change with it meta API rules that now allow to do this, many chat already took a step ahead of us on this matter, can you please let us know what’s the plan to keep up ? Or maybe an integration but honestly in this particular matter we are behind with what’s out there. Please help, Thanks.

I've experienced it when following someone new and it's really great. Now I'm seeing ads for it all over IG and I know it would be a game changer if GHL had this for us to use.
