Add "Starts with" option to conditions

In this example where I'm trying to detect a mobile number (instead of landline), it would work better with a "Starts with" ....being "Contains", non-mobile numbers like 0298045678 will slip through.

Totally agree with this. How has this been under review for four years?!
“Starts With” and “Does Not Start With” are basic but essential condition options. I genuinely need this feature, as it is imperative for several of my systems to operate accurately. Relying on “Contains” creates false matches and makes automations unreliable.
If this still cannot be implemented, I may have to seriously consider moving my automations elsewhere, because it is becoming a major limitation.

It would be great to have another option in the drop down. Currently we have contains, does not contain etc. Could we ave one for starts with? So in our country you can only receive SMS on mobile numbers. Mobile numbers starts with 3 digits. This way we can control to send a sms or not as landlines can not receive sms?

Totally agree with this suggestion and can't believe this is still "UNDER REVIEW" from 2022 - Use case... In the United Kingdom "ALL" mobile numbers start with "07", therefore the ability to use an operator of "Starts With" would solve this issue. Come on Core Platform pull your fingers out 👍 💖 - update - also "validate phone number when first SMS is sent to a new contact" is not the solution as HL will still validate a UK landline number. UK landline will accept text messages, however, it doesn't work and is really stupid thing to do.

yes, we definitely needs Starts With for branching logic - it allows us to more evenly distribute people in different Workflows. I can currently search with a Starts With using the Wildcard feature, so we should also have that here in Workflows so we don't have do search manually.
