When using the “Create Custom Object or Associated Record” workflow action, Dropdown (Single Select) fields on custom objects do not display their predefined options. The field only allows Dynamic input, and the Standard option is missing.

This is inconsistent with how the “Create Opportunity” workflow action works, where dropdown fields correctly show the list of selectable values.

Because of this, we’re unable to assign a fixed dropdown value when auto-creating custom object records, which limits automation and forces unnecessary dynamic workarounds.

Please enable the ability to select predefined dropdown values (Standard mode) for custom object fields when creating records in workflows—just like we can for Opportunities and other standard objects. See attachment
