Add Notes to the Create/Update Opportunity Action

Currently, the only way to add Notes to an Opportunity is manually. Our agency needs to be able to do this automatically. In our case we are using a form to update an Opportunity and we need to be able to add a Note with the update.

Currently in workflows the "create note" or "create task" actions are contact based only but for our current project it would be highly beneficial if we could add notes or tasks associated with an opportunity only.

Notes and Tasks should be able to be associated with Opportunities and Custom Objects as well.

Any update on this? We recently migrated from Active Campaign and was surprised to see that updating Opportunity Notes via automation is not possible.

I'd love to present staff a form to enter the information about their touchpoint, which then updates custom fields and notes.

I bet you’ll be able to do this when GHL releases the update to make note opportunity centric rather than contact centric. Sadly, they’d been “planning” this since August
