Single Sign on - SSO
El M
We have an app that uses a custom authentication based on AWS Cognito’s solution that uses username+password. But this solution does not allow a Single Sign-On with third-party projects. We cannot integrate a custom third-party authentication system such as the one from GoHighLevel since it’s not an open authentication system. But, we can integrate any OAuth 2.0 compatible authentication system as a federated login. It is not mandatory to be a Google/Apple/Facebook/Amazon auth api, we can extend the authentication system to whatever compatible OAuth 2.0 service. Having an OAuth 2.0 open API in a platform such as GoHighLevel would allow any client of the Saas to build a third party software solution and use all the features from it. One of the examples is our internal analytic reporting tool. Would be a killer feature and would allow us to not replicate another authentication service. And this will be compatible not with only our Cognito/Amplify based app, but for any other authentication system. Our thought is that GoHighLevel is at 99% of confidence using a OAuth 2.0 API, but the API is not open, but private and closed. So the effort to build and expose this open auth API would be low.

This would also help with some security risk management as customers can manage more stringent password and MFA requirements via their SSO provider.

Definitely a must have! We have our own platform and allow users to access their CRM. This would be huge and would get rid of all the confusion.
