We need access to retrieve the timezone entered when creating the user. For automations surrounding requests like live transfers, it's important to know the TZ of the user so that it can match up the user's calendar with contact's timezone so that we can provide a real time response to "is_user_available_now". We also need the ability to set the TZ when we create a user via the API.
