Use case:
Front Desk Available (In Office): Calls are answered live by the receptionist. The AI Employee should only step in when needed (e.g., overflow, after hours, or specific transfer requests).
Front Desk Unavailable (Out of Office): When the receptionist is on lunch, away, or out sick, the toggle can be switched on, and calls would be routed directly to the AI Employee to handle fully.
Why this matters:
This ensures that clients always receive a smooth, consistent experience, while giving businesses flexibility to adapt in real-time without needing complicated call flow changes. A simple toggle/button in the dashboard or mobile app would make it easy for staff to manage day-to-day. Maybe a 66 (on) 67 (off) type of command to the designated phone line would be good, or a text message?
