Currently we are only able to create a trigger for an automation that posts data to Google "Add to Google Adwords", when one of 5 triggers take place:
- Form Submission
- Appointment Booked
- Product Purchase
- Link Clicked
- Page Visit
None of the above include conversions that would show a quote or a sale, only lead conversions.
The above is According to this article, and the errors we receive when trying the automation: https://help.gohighlevel.com/support/solutions/articles/155000003368-workflow-action-google-adwords
We would like you to add "opportunity stage change" (for example to a quote or sales) stage to be added as an additional trigger that "Add to Google Adwords".
Currently the automation receives an error:
Skipped Due to
This workflow action requires contacts created from Google Ads. The error is because the gclid attribution parameter was not present from the page-visit

So GoHighLevel can tell Google Ads when someone fills out a form, books an appointment, clicks a link or visits a page... but goes completely blind when that same person actually buys my product and gives me money (opportunity Won).
Google's algorithm is sitting there thinking my business is really good at collecting email addresses but terrible at making sales, so it optimizes for more people who just love filling out forms for fun. And here's the kicker - the GCLID, GBRAID and WBRAID tracking data is literally stored right there in custom fields, staring everyone in the face, but GoHighLevel acts like it's written in ancient hieroglyphics.
Peak CRM logic right there. 🤦‍♂
