Unified Smart Lists: Displaying Contact & Opportunity Fields in a Single View

For businesses managing complex, multi-stage client journeys, the ability to create a single, unified "work queue" is the most critical function of a CRM.
Current situation:
Currently, Smart Lists filter by Contact fields and a very limited number of standard Opportunity fields. We cannot display columns from both objects in a single, sortable view. While it is important to establish the differentiation between contact and opportunity data, artificially restricting the ability to filter and sort by all data types is a major error in information theory that should be addressed.
Business Needs:
Say a business needs to create lists that answers a complete question using data from contact and opportunity view, such as: "Show me the 'Mandate Status' and 'Assigned Solicitor' (Opportunity data) for all clients whose 'Postal Code Area' (Contact data) is 'London'."
The Current Limitation:
To get this information, one must work from two separate browser tabs, one with a Contact Smart List, and another with the Opportunity view, and manually cross-reference between them. This is a significant operational inefficiency and a major point of friction in the daily workflow.
The Proposed Solution:
Allow users to add Opportunity fields (Custom and Standard) directly into the Contact Smart List view, allowing the creation of highly customisable work queues or lists. Or create an entirely new view and call it something else, so long as it is unified.
The result:
This single feature would transform Smart Lists from a simple filtering tool into a true, professional-grade operational dashboard. It would allow businesses like ours to build powerful, context-rich work queues directly within the platform, eliminating the need for inefficient workarounds and dramatically improving team productivity.
Thank you for your consideration.
