For nonprofit clients, we created a custom object for donations that stores fund designation, among other details. Right now, to see the related transaction, the user has to navigate to the donor's profile and then to payments. Since the form that collects donations creates and associates the contact with the donation, it would be nice if the payment and transaction were then associated with the custom object record. Both one-time payments and recurring (subscription) ones. With the ability to have changes to the subscription applied to the donation record that it is associated with. I am sure that last part might already be possible with automations, but it gives you an idea of how it would be used.
