Problem:
Currently, in Conversations, it is not possible to paste images directly from the clipboard.
If an agent takes a screenshot or copies an image from the browser or another app, they must manually open the file picker and search for the image on their computer.
This slows down conversations significantly, especially for sales and support teams using WhatsApp API.
Use case:
  • Agent takes a screenshot (the image is already in the clipboard)
  • Agent wants to paste it directly into the chat (Ctrl + V)
  • Currently, this is not supported
Impact:
  • Extra friction during live conversations
  • Slower response times
  • Poorer agent experience
  • Higher operational friction for agencies managing multiple sub-accounts
Requested feature:
Allow users to paste images directly into Conversations using the clipboard (Ctrl + V / Cmd + V), similar to WhatsApp Web, Slack, and other modern chat tools.
This should work for:
  • Screenshots
  • Copied images from the browser
  • Clipboard image content
