Currently, GoHighLevel allows users to create "pretty" links—hyperlinked text—within emails, which is great for keeping messages clean and professional.
However, this functionality is not available for SMS messaging, where long URLs (e.g., survey links or booking forms) often appear bulky and unappealing. Since SMS character count is limited and visual clarity is important, the inability to hyperlink text results in a poor user experience and limits branding consistency.
Feature Request:
Enable support for "pretty links" in SMS messages, allowing users to:
Turn plain text like “Click here to take the survey” into a tappable hyperlink.
Use dynamic links or custom values inside the SMS body.
Keep SMS messages short, clean, and easier to read.
If full hyperlinking isn't possible due to SMS protocol limitations, a potential workaround could be:
Automatically generating branded short links (e.g., ghl.to/survey123) using the business’s custom domain.
Embedding the link inside a call-to-action using MMS or Rich Communication Services (RCS) where available.
This enhancement would greatly improve usability, conversions, and the overall professionalism of SMS communications for all GHL users.
