Changes to the Ad Set Budget are not syncing to Meta Ads Manager

I changed the daily budget on an ad, but yet it still shows as the original amount in Meta Ads Manager. Reported it to the support desk and was told "Budget changes may not sync back to Meta. Currently, there’s no confirmation or validation to show whether Meta has accepted the budget update, which is a known limitation."
If the data isn't going to sync, it is very misleading that I can edit the field in the Ads Manager and it not sync to Meta. There should be a warning of some sort as a minimum to manage expectations that the functionality is not working to update the budget.

You’re right to be concerned that’s a known limitation with Meta ↔ GHL sync. GHL can send the budget update, but Meta doesn’t always accept or confirm it, so the UI becomes misleading.
Best practice for now is to treat Meta Ads Manager as the source of truth for budgets and use GHL mainly for reporting and structure, not live budget edits.
A warning or sync-status indicator would definitely help set expectations.
