Hi everyone 👋
Great question!
Yext has a direct integration with Amazon Alexa, meaning Amazon prioritizes the data received from Yext over other sources since it comes straight from the business.
While we don’t know the exact algorithm Alexa uses to compile answers, Yext ensures that your business information is fed directly to Alexa, providing the most accurate data possible.
In addition, Yext integrates with Apple Maps (for Siri), Google My Business (for Google Assistant), and Bing Places (for Cortana), ensuring your business information is optimized for voice search across all major platforms.
Voice search platforms also rely on publishers like TripAdvisor, Yelp, and others—all of whom are part of the Yext Knowledge Network —further enhancing your visibility.
The key takeaway is that by using Yext, you're providing accurate business info directly or indirectly to these voice-search platforms, ensuring your clients are well-positioned for voice searches.🚀📈
Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions!

Richa

Richa Jindal So if we have clients that are on our subaccount using Yext through HL, what do we do to ensure they have voice search on?

Hi Micah Schmidt
Yext automatically sends your clients data to Amazon Alexa, so there's no action needed there.
For the other voice search platforms, I would recommend ensuring that your clients are live on the majority of major publishers like Google Business Profile, Bing, Yelp, TripAdvisor, Apple, etc. to ensure the major voice search platforms have a source of data supplied directly from the business.
Let me know if there are additional questions, thanks!

What is the process for this? I thought this happens automatically when a client signs up for Yext..?
