The current sync only supports simple products. It would be great if variable products were automatically split out as simple products. It's only a few lines of code to create one HL side product for each variation. But - even better - since HL supports variations - make a UI that makes that possible as well. The reason is I use WooCommerce as a datasource for Quotes/Estimates - against a massive corporate catalog. 283,000 variations on 80,000 products. Right now - they have to be synced via api - the built in connection is not sufficient.
