The ability to redirect a /home page url to the root domain /

At the moment it is not possible to add a 301 redirect from the main page set as the homepage of a website e.g (/home) to be just / which is a MAJOR technical SEO flaw as this causes a duplicate of the homepage which will seriously harm rankings.

Yes, this is a massive SEO problem.
While it is possible to create work arounds with things like Cloudflare Rules, those extra steps should not be necessary and can cause other issues when it comes to managing clients and websites.
GHL Staff - This is not an issue with human users, it's a problem with how the website fundamentally appears to search engine crawlers. If the Google Bot is able to see mywebsite.com (url A) AND mywebsite.com/home (url B), and both of those pages have duplicate content, then Google gets confused and it causes problems with indexing and rankings. There is a setting for canonical URL, but that is not sufficient and it is still a major problem that causes serious SEO issues.
Also, when using website builder buttons to point to a "Page" instead of a "Website URL", it points to the wrong version (url B). It should point to url A instead. That way, a user can point to the home page with a button or link and that continues to work even after launching the website on a production domain.
These problems effectively mean that the native website builder for GHL is not SEO friendly, as there is literally no way to natively have just 1 URL for the home page.
I was able to find work arounds for my staff just from doing this for 17 years, but most people won't be able to do that, and they shouldn't have to.
Ultimately, the best solution would be to set whatever the home page is to have only 1 URL - the root (url A) - and remove url B altogether for whichever page is the home page.
You can also allow redirects, but again, it's not the best solution. It's just another work around for a problem that should not exist.
