My order forms (particularly one-step) are loading far too slowly. There are no large images on the page, no other big scripts, nothing else that's not configured for the fastest load time - and I'm not the only person having this issue.

Here's a Loom I found in the FB forum that shows what's happening. On my end, it does it when the order form is in one column too (with nothing else on the page except header and footer).

It is taking so long to load that the page says "No product to show" for several seconds, above the fold on most desktop devices. People will abandon the page before it loads.
