More Advanced Website Builder (like Webflow, Elementor, Clickfunnels 2.0)
in progress

Creating websites and funnels inside GHL in quite basic as of now. It would be fantastic if we could have a way more advanced builder with lots more visual styling settings, Flexbox, CSS Grid, States (hover, active), advanced styling of elements, Divs, Colors, Gradients, CSS filters, text span, components, global styling, variants ... just as it is possible in Elementor, Webflow, or even the new Clickfunnels 2.0 builder.

It makes me a little crazy that I can't select multiple elements, I have to style each thing one by one.

Estaria muy bien, la verdad, tambien agregaria la posibilidad de "drag and drop" pero que puedas dejar lo que arrastras en cualquier parte, no teniendo que utilizar cuantos pixeles poner en el paddle o el border.

I would also like to suggest for the Columns to be able to be adjusted by typing in the percentages. Makes it super easy for us to design pixel perfect columns. Very similar to how we can set the width of the rows.

We should implement parallax scrolling to make our funnel and websites look high quality. Here’s an example how it could look like:

I totally agree!! Posted this in another thread but will repost to share some stuff that goes along with your post Matthias:
I spent a year and a half studying design, & learning Webflow. For designers & web developers coming to GHL, I'd have to say the builder is real clean but lacks a lot of basic functionalities that competitors have. I think updating the builder should be a huge focus as it's one of the main reasons people want to use GHL...for websites & funnels.
As my main site I've got that on Webflow. We've transitioned our setup to push out products/e-mails & building custom funnels for us and our affiliates on GHL. Much easier to manage things rather than connect a bunch of software and systems together.
Some other functionalities (which are basic) should definitely be implemented. E.g. custom design colors on a global level to easily style buttons, text, accents, etc.....and definitely adding global javascript/css. Additionally being able to add typography.
With Google Fonts, you'll also run into probs with GDPR stuff. Need the ability to custom upload fonts for sure. Found a work around doing it through CSS, but definitely not user friendly.
All these things would help with brand consistency, accessibility, and honestly make GHL so much better as far as the funnels/websites are concerned. This is definitely a must for designers/no-code web developers. Not only that, but this makes it easier for the client to change things if they need to.
Also wondering why we are able to use REM/VH etc. on padding/margin, but no way to use REM instead of px for text. REM is much more accessible and responsive. Also in the builder we should have an option for tablet mode. I'm adapting building from Webflow via a system called client-first, so a little more options in the builder would go a LONG WAY.
Another thing that might be a lot for the development team, but if implemented would be sooo awesome. The ability to use div blocks & flex.
Also noticing when adding columns/rows styling is automatically applied. I understand this is because it's harder to select sections, rows, columns in the builder itself which is why the layers panel should be updated as well. Currently I need to manually go in and create templates with all padding taken off and PX changed to REM...this helps more accurately transfer Figma Designs to GHL. I can make it work, but requires a lot of extra time.
Relating to the Layers panel, some basic updates would really help. AKA being able to view the layers panel without it overlapping on the design.
I think these things could be implemented while not being nearly as complex as Webflow, but a much better experience as people learned it. I can build so fast in Webflow now that I've learned it, but is a much higher learning curve.
Meeting somewhere in the middle would be IDEAL :).
I totally understand updates are being made all the time with this software which is awesome to see. I think this should be on the "High Priority" & would improve the customer experience TONS!
I added some screenshots so the dev team can get some ideas on updating GHL builder. : )

Jason: Thank you so much for this detailed feedback. We have addressed a few of your suggestions in this quarter and are looking to implement as much as we can in the upcoming one. We also want to provide a robust builder to our customers and these suggestions by the community are very valuable. If there's something important you want to discuss in detail, drop me a mail at saqib.mohammed@gohighlevel.com or book a call at https://speakwith.us/saqib

Sales & Marketing Love Jason's perspective. I also want to add perspective of another designer. Simplicity is key to use - with the ability to make it look incredible. A simple example of this I see – is SquareSpace Fluid approach. You can overlay layers which also allows some cool design options, but not as 'techy' as something like Webflow. I also found Thrive Themes (WP) to be pretty decent in many ways. Treating it more like a Theme Builder may help set up the base design and then we can customise more like what is shown here (in the Webflow examples) for those who know what to do with those features.
I think the 'standard' out of the box of the page builder still needs simplicity, but also ways to open up more for the advanced design folks. I know that's asking for a lot, but knowing the people I help they couldn't do anything more complicated than what Squarespace is doing. Drop and drag kind of thing. Then the customisation drop downs are hidden settings where the more advanced people dig into.
What I love about this is that Designers/ none css developers can build killer designs/ templates and sell them to the people who use them as HL users. But the business user who just wants to update an image or replace some text can keep the theme the designer created – without seeing all the settings and ruining the design. Hope that helps to add another perspective!
I can't wait to see!

Sales & Marketing regarding the layers panel, on top of Jason's great suggestions, I would add following: When I click element (or column, row, section) Either expand the tree to the element or at least somehow highlight parent, where the active element is. And second, add at least duplicate and hide icons just before the triple dot. I believe those two are most used and it would definitively improve user experience if we don't need to click triple dot every time. Thanks for considering.

We need the back end code to be better too for SEO. Basic things like header and footer codes should be in the html as standard
