I've had clients say they can't easily identify which tab in their browser window belongs to GHL because our logo is very wide and this means the favicon is distorted and almost invisible. A favicon separate to the company logo which is used across all sub-accounts is really needed here.

I agree with this. The aspect ratio for the business logo is not 1:1 so it skews the favicon.

Absolutely agree. Especially with those of us working in the graphic design / website space it looks bad in front of our clients.
