User Story:
"As a designer, I want typography to fit according to a baseline grid. This is achieved by applying a typographic scale to a consistent line-height ratio throughout the page. (For information on typographic scales, see here: https://typescale.com/)"
Current state:
  • Currently, this is achieved manually. Each headline (h1, h2, etc) is sized individually. Each line-height is adjusted individually.
  • Currently, we can optimize this by creating all of our headings and content sections, applying size + height -- then cloning these elements throughout a webpage.
Current limitation:
  • Currently, to work within the optimized flow as stated above, we must clone elements or repeat manual actions adjusting size + height.
  • We must repeat this process each page we create within a website or funnel.
Opportunity:
By allowing us to pre-set font-size and line height values for all content elements (h1, h2, h2... p, etc), at a GLOBAL level, we can save time and improve consistent UX practices across all of our web pages.
This can be as simple as allowing custom h1, h2, h3, etc settings in the typography section of the builder, for font-size and line-height.
Bonus points:
  • if you allow us to apply typographic settings to the entire website, instead of just a single page. So that when a user/designer creates a home page, the same styles, settings are applied to all sequential pages in the site/funnel.
Double Bonus points:
  • if you allow us to tweak line-height by specific units (px, rem, etc) instead of just a ratio.
