Better Code Editor

Badly need a better code editor. I almost always have to write my own code and components and the code editor is really bad and doesn't work consistently. More complicated css selectors get badly formatted resulting in styles not working. Or for the love of God, let us host files so I can write and just upload/update the file and import them into my css/js/html.

I fully support this request – and honestly, it's overdue.
As an agency working daily in GoHighLevel, we're constantly frustrated by the inconsistent and weak text editors across funnels, emails, memberships, forms, calendars, etc. Some don’t support basic formatting, others are buggy, and none of them meet modern standards.
What we need is ONE unified, powerful editor across the entire platform – with features like: • Rich formatting (headings, lists, colors)
• Tables and embeds
• Code/HTML toggle
• Responsive preview
• Auto-save and undo/redo
Tools like Notion, Thrive Architect, and even WordPress set the benchmark. GHL should follow that standard – not force users to fight the editor every day.
A better editor would improve productivity, reduce support tickets, and make GHL feel like a premium product.

I'm for this. With the ability to create separate files and folders within the custom code editor it would be fantastic. I tend to write lots of javascript and it would be helpful to compartmentalize the code into separate files.

Jason Hanrahan Developer experience is horrendous on this platform honestly. I have to fight so much with the system to make some things work. And unfortunately that too, only extends to the websites.

This. I currently have to write in visual studio code then copy and paste in, or it's not workable. Hosting our own css and js would be perfect. Embedding bootstrap code is a pain at present!
