Since threaded replies aren't possible in text, I'd like to be able to create a message like this for a quick response check-in:
Message now...
Lead's Name: Sally Jones
Reply back 1 if they closed, 2 if maybe, 3 if lost.
Change that to...
Lead's Name: Sally Jones
Reply back SJ1 if they closed, SJ2 if maybe, SJ3 if lost.
Not the perfect example, but this would be awesome:
{{substr(contact.first_name,1)}}
I'm sure there are many related possibilities as well.

Yes! An equivalent function to javascript's "String.replace" would be a game changer. I constantly run into workflow situations where I'm having to send text out to an external task system (Zapier, Make.com, Google Cloud Functions, etc.) to format text.
