Currently, GoHighLevel's task system is missing a crucial feature for effective daily work – especially for teams:

Each user should see only the tasks that are due today or before (and not yet completed) – directly in the task widget on their dashboard.

💡 Why this is important:

These are the most relevant tasks for the day – what needs to be done now, not what’s coming up later.

Tasks that are due tomorrow or in the future should not appear in today’s view. They’re not relevant yet.

This would give each user a clean, focused overview of what really matters right now.

Especially for teams, it's essential that each team member sees only their due/overdue tasks for the day – no clutter, no confusion.

✅ Ideal implementation:

In the Task Widget on the dashboard:

Show only tasks that are incomplete AND due today or earlier

Additionally, as a filter in the task section:

Due date: on or before today + Status: not completed

📊 Industry standard:

Tools like ClickUp, Asana, Trello, and Notion offer this by default.

Even basic tools like Outlook Tasks or Google Tasks allow users to easily view only the tasks that are due today or earlier.

This is a well-established standard in digital productivity – and it’s currently missing in GoHighLevel.

Without this filter, users waste time scanning through tasks that are not relevant yet.
