Absolutely, this would be very convenient and make it easier to track as well. It would save time on having to use other outside apps for this purpose.

This is a must, trigger links in SMS are ridiculous long! I had to get rid of trigger links from sms and replace with static short url, I lost tracking but at least my messages aren't super long now!

Sounds fun. I would like that also.

Phase 1
We need to be able to define a domain to be used for link shortening at the Agency Level, that all sub-accounts would use for any link shortening.
Phase 2
Allow sub-accounts to define their own link shortening domain and if not defined then use the Agency Level link shortening domain.

HEY GUYS - this seems like a serious no-brainer. Short link URLS that persist, but the target destination CAN BE EDITED --- come on! Let's do this.

Giving my vote to this - not sure why this can't be done as the QR code generator is already live. We have to use a thirdparty app at the moment to create shortend / branded links.
Our main use case is to provide clean links that do not look like spam when we have UTM parameters added. Also just looks more professional when we share docs/links etc using a branded link.
Would be great to know if this is on the agenda as just about to shorten about 100 new links for a new course.
thanks

I'm looking for something like Pretty Links but for GHL. I've been using the URL redirect tool for some links so they're branded, but this doesn't give any data at all. I'm really surprised this isn't a thing and that people have been asking for this for years.

Looks like the core of this functionality is already in GHL - but has only been rolled out to the Social Planner.
Can this feature please have a stand alone UI (outside the social planner) so that customers can create and manage shortened links manually (much like they can with QR codes), track their usage and be able to use them in other places - not just social posts?
I think this would be very useful (effectively replacing the need for bit-ly or other platforms like that.

We currently use an external link shortening service on a short custom domain. Having this integral to HL would be a great bonus.

This is a game changer. We often use 3rd party software like bit.ly to shorten links as we all know that sms segments are charged based on sms segments
