Use trigger links in QR Codes / Graphics

I have a client doing a live event. We placed a link to her funnel in the QR Code graphic made in Canva but wanted to use a trigger link so that it could be a workflow trigger so we could capture and track when a person clicks / scans from the event, start communication, etc.

There are multiple ways you can already accomplish this:
#Path 1:
-Create a trigger link
-Map that trigger link to the URL parameter in the QR code.
-[optionally] create a URL forwarder to a shortening domain to make the QR code more legible, and use the bit.ly or otherwise URL shortener link with the target value being the trigger link.
-Create your automation workflow trigger as the trigger link being clicked.
#Path 2:
-Pass in URL input parameters (such as tags or UTM) from the URL path in the QR code.
-Set the workflow trigger to be contact tag added/updated, etc
-[optionally] create a URL forwarder in GHL to a shortening domain link to make the QR code shorter by use of bit.ly or other URL shortener domain link with the target value being the entire trigger link.
(e.g. "https://marketsuite.io/demo-page?phone=5551234567&service=SEO&utm_source=fb > "URL Redirects" > 'https://bit.ly/U7e9jt3' > generate QR Code URL == bitly link )
#Path 3:
-If using a complex automation via middleware such as N8n, Make, or Zapier, generate a web hook and then have the trigger event for the workflow be the web hook.
#NOTE:
** use of 'bit.ly' or other URL shortener domain service OR just buy your own short domain name and import it into the GHL agency "domains' for use across multiple sub-accounts. (allows for more easily scanned QR Code based on better QR Code 'version' and 'error correction' settings and less data to render in the dot-matrix.) [Reasoning: the shorter the URL, the easier the QR Code is to scan.]
Hope that helps!

Market Suite.io, sure. There is at least one workaround for almost every suggestion on this ideas board. The point of these requests is to simplify the user interface and reduce the number of configuration steps required.

Keith Besherse Very true. Native platform tool integration is always better than a workaround/hack.

They already track QR Code Stats, so it should be easy to add an automation trigger for when that count increments...

Yes this, I have a billboard on the back of my hoodie and when in a coffee shop, it would be cool to trigger the scan, workflow notifies me and I can see who around me is interested. Plus how cool would that conversation go..."Ok folks, who just scanned my QR code"
