For contacts that have multiple opportunities, we need to be able to leave notes specifically for each opportunity rather than it being saved under the main contact notes section. It gets too messy when leaving notes for specific jobs related to the same contact.

Pallavi Kothari If opportunity cards have their own notes, if an opportunity is deleted by a user. Will the notes from the opportunity transfer to the contact card? We would want the ability to keep those notes or delete them. Maybe an option once you click delete opportunity if notes are inside of the opp to move to contact?

i actually like that they sync. seems like more data would be siloed if the change is made.. there should be an option to sync app notes and contact notes or have the ability to have separate notes for opps and contacts like you want

THIS MUST BE FIXED!!! I can't think of a single instance where tracking notes on the person is more important than the notes for the opportunity. How can this not be a higher priority in a sales and marketing CRM tool?

I agree. This is a critical update. Notes need to be able to be siloed by opportunity.
