Improve Canny Experience

Wasn't sure where to put this request but I like to follow the updates and Changelog and think the experience could be made a lot better.
- Shorten the changelog updates on the main feed page. Currently, on the main Changelog page the entire update is posted to the feed. This is annoying as it makes it hard to scroll through the update history etc, especially when you release new templates and the thing scrolls forever. Instead, copy Clickup Canny setup and have your main feed be truncated posts that people can click through to read the full update: https://feedback.clickup.com/changelog
- More accurate Statuses for Planned etc. There are some changes that have been in planning for over two years. It would be nice if this was kept accurate and maybe things can only be marked as planned if they will be in pipeline in the next 6 months. That way people understand that it actually is underway. As it stands now, Planned status means nothing because it can still be years away.

It would be nice to have definitions for: Open, Under Review, Upcoming, Planned, In Progress, ...
Quarterly updates for each idea on the board regarding whether the suggestion has been put on the Roadmap (or not) would give us much more confidence in the process.
I would like to see each product town hall in the quarter prioritize focus: first town hall = current quarter priorities, second town hall = possible future features (9-12 months), third town hall = current quarter update and next quarter decision making.

I wonder if an aggregate suggestion count graph would show a trend toward working off the customer requests or a never ending expansion of suggestions that will likely never be implemented...
I suspect that if someone actually did the work of finding the duplicate suggestions the total count would be 1/3 of the current list of never ending requests. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLsZ0eCZV9sKjRDNB2QYpJn4nhn-DH8uwK

Here on Canny there is no indication, from the user perspective, regarding whether the idea has even been seen by the product manager let alone whether the idea fits in the strategic vision for that product.
During my time in the HighLevel universe, the Facebook group has grown from 55K people to 114K. Yet active participation on the Ideas Board seems to have decreased. I am not running the analytics. Maybe you can show me the graphs that indicate relative engagement has kept pace with the user base. You also know how few people attend the Product Town Halls and watch those replays.
When the town hall format is a briefing by the product manager about current and future developments "Any questions?" with less than 5 minutes remaining in the allocated time slot means, "Do you have any questions about what we presented?" If your intention is to ask" "What other suggestions would you like us to consider?" Then 1. please allocate more time to the future priorities segment of the agenda and 2. make it more clear that you are opening the floor to suggestions.
I have attempted to suggest a more structured approach to integrating user feedback into the product development cycle. Here is one way (but not the only way!).

A way to assess whether the Ideas Board/Town Hall system is working:
When the weekly automated email of new feedback comes from Canny, do a search for each of those suggestions. Ask:
- Does a similar suggestion (worded differently) already exist? How old is(are) the previous suggestion(s)?
- Is this suggestion a branch into a new direction for the platform or an improvement to the existing features. (Prioritize improvements over expansion.)
- Is the total number of suggestions on the ideas board increasing or decreasing?
- Can ideas that aren’t directly related but require similar infrastructure improvements be combined such that it might take 2 or 3 quarters to implement instead of 1 but the result will be a more refined outcome?
I would like to see a new status: “ON HOLD”. This would be for ideas that are either not currently within the strategic vision for the platform and/or not technically feasible at this time.
I have said elsewhere that a board for the ideas board & town hall process plus HighLevel The Platform would be good. Some suggestions don’t fall within the scope of a product manager. Chase Buckner
