As of right now (11/19/2025) there is no way to connect an incoming phone number purchased within HighLevel to ring another Twilio number which was purchased outside of HighLevel.
e.g. Inside of HighLevel you buy number 111-111-1111. If you already had your own Twilio account and had purchased the phone number 222-222-2222, you cannot within the HighLevel settings, setup 111-111-1111 to FWD the call to 222-222-2222
We have VOIP desk phones which run FreePBX using Twilio trunks and Twilio phone numbers. There is no way for us to have an incoming call forwarded/redirected/ring our desk phones because the phone number assigned to the desk phones are Twilio numbers.
Even if you didn't have a VOIP PBX system with physical phones, there is no way to even have incoming calls from HighLevel on 111-111-1111 forward to 222-222-2222 (which is connected within Twilio to ring a cell phone). The calls are immediately dropped when incoming calls see that its another Twilio number that HighLevel is trying to connect the call to.
