Now that A2P 10DLC is a thing, more spam CALLS are coming now. Having the ability to BLOCK a phone number from calling back in to prevent a charge would be great.

We purchased a new tracking number through GHL LC Phone, and since then, we have been getting approximately 10 to 20 inbound calls per day that are fraudulent "Google Listing Verification" spam.
These calls are robo-dialed, repetitive, and are disrupting our business.
We understand these are third-party scammers, but we need the platform's help to filter them out.
If the current number is known to be "polluted" with spam already, what is the best/fastest way to get a clean replacement LC Phone number?
Thank you for your help. We need a way to stop this spam immediately.

Guys, why would GHL want to stop spam calls when it feeds their bottom line with running up your minutes, sms, and recording storage, and transcriptions? Whyt would Shaun want to turn off literally thousands of dollars per day of free money? lol

Have you tried putting an IVR in place? This typically stops most spam calls.

Mohsin Taufeeque that’s kind of the point. People who actually want to talk to you will press a button. Spam callers, and Robocalls will typically not do that. There will always be some spam with people behind it willing to press a button, but it greatly diminishes it. I haven’t found that we have lost leads either.

Alex Zalamov Weird! This has always worked successfully for me! Spam calls usually do not get through unless a true person is behidn it and absolutely DETERMINED to press a button.
