YES PLEASE!!!! Our service-based business requires a deposit to confirm the appointment. It would be great if we could accept a deposit which could then be applied to the invoice!

Also need to be able to collect a deposit via invoice, with the remaining balance left as outstanding to then be collected X days later. The partial payment option on invoices does not work for this as we are not giving the option for them to pay a partial amount.

Jen Schneider can you explain more on how you expect it to work on 2-step order forms? We're coming up with the deposits feature on invoices soon, but would like to build more clarity for implementing this on order forms

Yes. Deposits are needed. Even if its a line item on the invoice like the coupon/discount feature.
